Laura Laurap6286@Gmail.com There is an issue that iwhen a user follows the update download link directly from theme editor tool that it takes you to a page which is a dead end and there is no download link on that page. The way to do this instead go to https://developer.samsung.com and login using your theme editor access approved Samsung account and navigate to theme page https://developer.samsung.com/theme for downloading updated theme editor. | Never in my life have I ever seen where a person has to jump through hoops to get software to personalize a device they (We) have spent soooo much money on. The themes in the store are ok, at least some anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love my S9+ but wish I would have done more research before buying it now. Android may be open source but obviously isn't fully open or there wouldn't be so much trouble involved in personalizing without having to be approved to use specialized software to create/change theme settings. I hope that you guys at Samsung would consider making Samsung Theme Editor availible to customers who own one of your products to customize as they would like rather than having to buy themes we aren't completely fond of. At least an option to change the status icon colors to contrast with background images for visability which is one of my main issues. Even a patch/update to include color adjustments to status bar icons would be lovely. Thank you to anybody reading this who is taking my interest to heart. |

We Spends £1000s on Samsung devices then are not allowed to makes themes for Samsung smartphones and tablets what a joke… Ive purchased the S10 plus and want to change the look, but either can't or have to opt for a theme im not happy with and cannot change further. For a device that has cost me so much money, im not sure why I cannot do something as simple as this ? I dont see Microsoft preventing you changing wallpapers or icons. I find it bonkers that in todays world we are being charged such vast sums of money and then still being told what we can and cannot do with our own property. So, if I went through the hoops and applied (and I would keep doing so to get my moneis worth out of the product) how would I then make a theme that I want and find enjoyable in support of a game I like. Because wouldnt this then surely be declined, which isnt this the point of themes ? And who exactly pockets the cash here... |
